John Coleman ran his own workshop - designing and making, mostly to commission - for 20 years. He now focusses on design consultancy.
Our furniture still maintains the craft ethos. It begins life in the notebook and takes shape by hand in the studio. Increasingly, it goes on to large scale production, and we work closely with manufacturers to ensure we respect both the sensibility of the craft and the disciplines of the industry. The difference is one of scale: the same standards and values apply whether working for a private client or for industry.
