about us

john coleman design is a furniture design consultancy, working with major European companies.

john coleman trained at the Royal College of Art and established his own company in 1981. He designed and produced furniture to commission and for batch production for 20 years. He now concentrates on designing for industry.

our work is characterised by its clean lines and simple, balanced forms. Designs are restrained, understated and timeless, pared down to the essentials.

our aim is to provide a responsive service; to match form to function; and to use materials responsibly.
